Ted. Full brother to our palomino stallion KIKO, is every bit as exceptional — though he expresses his brilliance in a completely different way. Where KIKO embodies quiet strength and classical elegance, Ted is defined by his vibrant energy, quick intelligence, and bold charisma.
A striking black stallion with outstanding conformation and exceptional movement — elastic, expressive, and naturally athletic – he is the best dressage prospect we have ever bred. He thrives under work, particularly if it challenges his mind and body. His high play drive makes him especially talented at liberty work, where he shines through his enthusiasm, focus, and genuine connection with us.
ANCESTORS
Born and lovingly hand-reared here at our stud, Ted is the final foal from our cherished mare, the late Lebrijana XXXVIII. From the very beginning, he has been fully immersed in the daily rhythms of life as both a horse and a stallion. This upbringing has shaped him into a well-mannered, deeply connected, and respectful partner. He is kind and gentle with mares and handlers alike, yet retains a wonderfully playful nature that makes him a joy to be around.
Ted is excelling with covering and is producing impressive offspring with interesting colours just like himself. Ted was born a gorgeous minky colour and we did think he was a smoky black but after testing Ted is confirmed 100% black.
Ted has been an extraordinary part of our stud, but as much as we love him, we cannot keep all our Stallion long-term. He has now reached a stage where he would truly benefit from a dedicated home that can give him the ridden attention, focus, and partnership he thrives on. With his boundless energy, sharp mind, and high play drive, Ted is ready for an exciting new chapter with someone who can continue his development and enjoy all he has to offer.
We are therefore offering Ted for sale to the right home.
He will remain available for live covering here at the stud, and in time, frozen semen for AI will also be offered.
