Hechicera. With us since a yearling, Hechicera has blossomed into a striking broodmare. With her jet black coat from her Sire, Elegant III, Hechicera brings a uniqueness to our breeding programme. A super producer, she is an integral part of our herd, with a deep connection to Diva and Mimosa CCI, she is an amazing producer and contributor to our stud. Check out ‘Our Progeny’ page for Hechicera’s progeny.

In 2017 Hechicera started her broodmare career with a gorgeous bay filly Cielomar Melena, out of Alejandro, who has gone onto be a great ridden mare with her new owner Lottie.
2018 brought us the wonderful black colt Cielomar Jabugo, out of Mas Talante.
She then had a break for a few years while our growing stallions became mature and ready to breed. During this time she was lightly backed and has an amazing mind for work.
2024 was the start of Kiko and Valiente’s first foaling season where Hechicera and Kiko produced a strapping bay colt Cielomar Lebrijano.
2025 brought about the gorgeous Cielomar Jupiter, out of Valiente – we adore him so much we decided to try again with the same breeding to hopefully get a filly with that same jet black coat who can take over her mothers place in the herd when she retires.
So 2026 marks Hechicera’s fifth foal due at the beginning of June.
Hechicera has blossomed as a broodmare and is a fantastic mother to all her babies. She will be having a year or so off from breeding moving forwards and will continue her education under saddle.

Hechicera joined our herd as a yearling and bonded fast with Mimosa. These 2 mares, being the same age, have spent most of their lives together and even managed to birth their foals on the same day!
The 2 foals born were colts Cielomar Jabugo, from Hechicera and Cielomar Morisco from Mimosa, both boys have been owned my the lovey Mia Rodley at The Heart of Horsemanship since they were yearlings and have spent their lives together becoming part of her liberty team.

Jabugo, or Boogie as he is affectionately known as, is currently Mia’s main ridden horse and the two of them have been out competing bridleless recently.

Check out her socials to follow their journey!
