JINETA XVI
HEIGHT: 15.3HH
pavita X clasico-mac
D.O.B: 23/03/2003
APTO APPROVED, spanish and uk papers

Jineta is a senior mare that we looked at some years ago but did not manage to purchase her in time before someone else snapped her up!
Not surprising since she is an almost pure Cardenas mare and the only known daughter of Clasico-MAC in the UK. Something that you can definitely see in her – she is strikingly similar in looks!
Jineta has always felt like she is part of our herd, we have only had her for a short time now but she feels like she has been with us for years! – she is quiet but strong, tall and elegant. Being a senior mare and in fantastic condition, we have chosen our homebred stallion, Alejandro VII for the Sire of her first foal with us.
We are so excited to see how she produces – we know she will be fantastic and the breeding lines together are sure to produce something striking!
Jineta has a very impressive pedigree with many influential stallions from both parents.
Being out of Clasico-MAC she has the Cardenas line with Vasallo II and Valido – half brothers along with the lovely Bilbaino III who leads back to the old Terry lines.
Her Dams lines bring in some wonderful old Military stallions including the movement champion Leviton – the sire of Evento who went on to become the first PRE stallion to compete in the Olympics, and some Romero Benitez lines. All of the old stud lines in Jinetas breeding are what makes her so unique and special. As breeders we adore these lines and are excited to see what she will produce with our stallion Alejandro who’s breeding will compliment hers.
Being that Jineta has these lines she matches in with our foundation bloodlines seamlessly and is related to our other grey mares Estrella and Mimosa.

Given her senior years, we’re putting a lot of care into ensuring Jineta is in prime condition for a smooth and successful foaling. Her training focuses on strengthening her thoracic sling, core, and back to support her body throughout pregnancy and recovery. Just as importantly, we’re continuing to nurture her trust and connection with us — something that has grown beautifully over the past year since she joined our herd.
