He cherishes the late autumn and winter months spent within the herd, engaging in mutual grooming, quiet companionship, and the subtle communication that defines true herd living. This time is invaluable — not just for Kiko, but for the mares as well — as it allows him to maintain meaningful bonds, reinforce trust, and continue developing the social awareness so often lacking in stallions kept in isolation. Watching him interact with his herd reminds us why our mares are so self-assured and calm — and why Kiko remains such a vital part of our breeding program, not only as a sire, but as a well-rounded, emotionally connected horse.
