At the very start of her journey, we were contact by Mia Rodley with an interest to meet our black colt, Jabugo, —the black beauty of her dreams. But fate had other plans. It wasn’t long before she also met his cheeky brother, Morisco, and suddenly, choosing just one became impossible.
Born on the same day and sharing the same sire, Mas Talante, these two half-brothers were already inseparable, joined at the hip, weaned together, stabled together. Their bond was undeniable—and Mia felt it too. After much thought and nail biting, she made the only decision her heart would allow: she took them both home.
Fast forward five years, and Cielomar Jabugo and Cielomar Morisco are now shining stars in Mia’s Liberty Team at The Heart of Horsemanship. Nicknamed Boogie and Mo, their connection with her is nothing short of breathtaking—fluid, effortless, and deeply intuitive. Every time we see them together, we’re reminded why we do what we do.
We couldn’t be prouder of this trio. Watching them is like watching poetry in motion—a true inspiration for the horsemanship world.

I didn’t want to get off or leave him!
He is now in his 20th year and I’m in my 69th!! We are growing old together and it’s been a wonderful journey! His temperament, beauty and kindness along with stunning balanced movement has made whatever we do a pleasure!

A True Success Story!
Nubarrón was a star from the very beginning — our miracle foal, born with the ideal breeding and presence we had long hoped for. He graded exceptionally well, had beautiful foals and captured a prestigious title for Best Movement at the 2015 Breed Show, even earning a feature in Horse & Hound.
We were proud to keep Nubarrón with us for some time, but it soon became clear he was ready for something more — a deeper connection, a person of his own. That’s when Sharon reached out. From the moment she met him, there was an undeniable bond. She never looked back, and Nubarrón found exactly what he needed: his forever person.
Libelula Scott and Libelula V

“I bought Libelula V (Lula) as a recently backed five year old. She is a calm, clever and confident mare.
We have been together now for 15 wonderful years during which time we have experimented with dressage, jumping, X country, working equitation, in-hand and liberty. Lula is a super quick learner and enjoys working out what it is I’m asking her and is very proud of herself when she has developed a new skill.
She is always good for the vet, dentist and foot trimmer (she is barefoot). We now spend most of our time together hacking on the Southdowns where we both enjoy galloping about like a couple youngsters even though we have a combined age of 82!
I could go on! She’s good at gates, does a nice little piaffe and we are currently working on passage!”

I’ve owned horses for the last 40 years, only in the last 9 years I been lucky enough to own the Spanish breed.
Noah has a fantastic temperament and attitude to life which I’m sure was helped by his early years with Laurie and the team at Yeguada Cielomar.
He was kept in a herd and not weaned too early which I think is very important.
